Keeping children safe at home starts with supporting their families. We work alongside families in Uganda to help them overcome the challenges that make it difficult to care for their children. Through practical support, education and small business opportunities, we help families provide for their children and stay together.
WOMEN IN BUSINESS
We have recently launched our first pilot program supporting single mothers who want to start a small business to provide for their children. Through practical business training and seed funding, we help mothers establish their own source of income. By empowering families to become financially independent, we help them afford safe housing, put food on the table and keep their children in school.
HEALTH, NUTRITION & WELLBEING
We provide emergency medical care for children living on the streets and those living at home with their families. We also support vulnerable families during times of crisis through emergency rental assistance, weekly food packages and emergency food distribution. Our goal is to ensure children and families have access to the essential care and support they need to stay healthy, safe and secure.
