STAGE ONE: COMPLETED!
FIND AN NGO OFFICE SPACE IN ORDER TO COMPLETE OUR APPLICATION
Our Stage One goal to find an NGO office space in Kampala has been met! We were able to secure a fantastic space with not only an office but also access to multiple conference rooms and a children’s library. It is right in the heart of Kampala which will be perfect for our work. For the update click HERE On to Stage Two!
STAGE TWO: IN PROGRESS
COMPLETE OUR NGO REGISTRATION IN UGANDA
This has been an on-going, painful but necessary stage of our work in Uganda. We are ALMOST complete with this stage. We just have a couple of things to finish!
Step one: Pay for our Annual Reports - $96
Step two: Certify the remaining documents - $60
Step three: Put in our official application and pay the Registration fee - $100
STAGE THREE:
FINDING THE HOME
This is where things start to get exciting! Finding the home. We need 5 months rent up front to secure the home and funds to pay real estate agents to go hunting for us! This is a big goal but we believe we can accomplish it with your help!
Step one: Up-front costs of 5 months rent in advance to secure the home - $1,900
Step two: Funds to pay Real estate agents to find a good home for us - $115
STAGE FOUR:
PURCHASING BEDROOM FURNITURE
Purchasing the large bedroom furniture is our first major step towards furnishing and setting up the home to bring in children. We have a local contact in Kampala who is able to make this furniture for us at a discount. We’d love your help in making this goal possible.
