Kwagalana Initiative
Through Umoya's Kwagalana Initiative, we help women in Uganda build sustainable income easing the financial pressure that so often strains life at home. Kwagalana means “love each other” in Luganda.
Through this Initiative, women receive:
Small business grants and planning support
Vocational skills training
Financial literacy education
Ongoing mentorship
We're not just offering short-term help. We're building long-term independence so that when a woman can provide for her family, her children stay in school, stay fed, and grow up in a home that feels secure.
Because when we invest in a woman, we invest in her whole family's future.
