Family support
When a family is in crisis, facing eviction, hunger, or a medical emergency, the risk of a child returning to street life rises sharply. Our Family Support program steps in during those critical moments.
We work directly with the families of children who have been resettled after experiencing life on the streets. We know that poverty and family instability are often the root causes that lead children to leave home in the first place so we don't just support the child in isolation. We support the whole family.
When a family reaches crisis point, we provide immediate help:
Emergency rental support to prevent homelessness
Food relief for families facing hunger
Access to urgent medical care
Alongside crisis support, we invest in long-term stability through:
Family assessments and regular home visits
Parenting support and nutrition education
Referrals to health and social services
Education sponsorship, school follow-ups, and monitoring of attendance and wellbeing
